Promotion of sustainable tourism in Visegrad region
The exchange system is known as WWOOF: World Wide Opportunities on Organic Farms. National coordinators interconnect mostly foreign volunteers to domestic farms. Volunteers get experience while working for food and accommodation. The project promotes V4 region as attractive one for this sort of experience exchange and sustainable way of tourism. Additionally 2011 is European Year of Volunteering (EYV).

Apart Slovakia every European country has its organization to run the exchange system. Project will introduce it to Slovakia:
1) identify suitable Slovak subject: call for it, select some, communicate with it, present the principals, goals and conditions of exchange system and provide methodical support.
2) introductory weekend (September 9.-11.): meeting with representatives of related subjects (NGO, public administrative, volunteers and farmers), meeting with journalists. Promotion flyer and Internet presentation will be widely presented. Dates were selected regarding the Slovak EYV campaign, place depends on Slovak partner organization.
Partners (all V4 or just three of us) first meet in Mai 25.-19. to realize two particular project components:
1) promotion flyer: full color printed on recycled paper in English and all four V4 language versions - searching an agreement in graphic scheme, content and way of distribution.
2) Internet portal: scheme for an instrument allowing to share data leading to more efficient distribution of volunteers and enabling more efficient communication with target groups and public.
The working meeting takes place in undeveloped region of Western Bohemia where opportunities are very limited. Partners will organize music concert for cultural enlightenment of local citizens.
